The Salvation Army has been fighting poverty, social and spiritual distress in New Zealand since 1883. We started work in Fiji in 1973 and in Tonga in 1985. We're here to serve.
Our centre in Temuka caters to men and women with intellectual disabilities. We are 'a home away from home' for those looking for a supportive environment in a peaceful setting.
The Salvation Army has changed the way I feel about myself. I think that I'm a person who deserves to be accepted.
