Appointment - Creative Ministres Director

The Territorial Commander is pleased to announce that Matthew Pethybridge B.Mus. has been employed as Creative Ministries Director for the New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga Territory.

Matthew comes with a wealth of experience and visionary gifts for all aspects of Creative Ministries. He has a strong and diverse musical background within The Salvation Army and wider community. Matthew has led Songster Brigades and Contemporary Worship Ensembles and has been Guest Conductor and Tutor for many groups, including musical theatre, brass bands and massed youth choirs.

He comes to this position from the Australia Eastern Territory, where he is the Deputy Songster Leader and pianist for the Sydney Staff Songsters. Matthew has previously been a school teacher and worked in administrative roles.

Please pray for Matthew as he takes up this important ministry position in the New Zealand Fiji and Tonga Territory mid-December, 2007
