Blue Mountain Adventure Centre

The Salvation Army's Christian Adventure Centre with outdoor adventure programmes tailor made to meet your needs. The centre was formerly known as Blue Mountain Lodge.

Our Mission is to demonstrate to others that the journey of the Christian life is the greatest adventure that anyone can undertake.

Unique Location!

With easy access to Tongariro National Park and Wanganui National park we are in a unique position to access a large variety of excellent sites for outdoor activities. View our map

Programme

  • Typically adventure weeks or weekends with single day activities and accommodation at our lodge.
  • We also run journeys from 3-11 days in duration. They can be circuits in the National Park area or from mountains to sea or your home.
  • Groups stay from half a day to 22 days.
  • We tailor make our activities to suit your objectives.  We are here to enhance the aims of your programme.
