The Salvation Army has been fighting poverty, social and spiritual distress in New Zealand since 1883. We started work in Fiji in 1973 and in Tonga in 1985. We're here to serve.
Our centre in Temuka caters to men and women with intellectual disabilities. We are 'a home away from home' for those looking for a supportive environment in a peaceful setting.
I thought I could get through it single-handedly, but it all came tumbling down like an avalanche.

Jeff Farm is a 1932ha farm managed by The Salvation Army that trains (and funds training for) young people for a career in the New Zealand agricultural industry.
