The Salvation Army Addiction Services – Wellington, currently has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Addiction Practitioner with our programmes located in Wellington.
Applicants should have experience in an addiction treatment setting and hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Addiction Studies. An ideal candidate would also hold “Competent Practitioner“ status with DAAPANZ or be working to gain this accreditation.
The ability to work in a culturally appropriate and safe manner with Maori and Pacific peoples is essential as is a full /clean Driving Licence.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo police vetting.
Applicants will need to be comfortable working within the philosophy and values of The programme as an expression of the Christian Social Service mission of The Salvation Army.
