The Salvation Army provides a professional national preventing and minimising gambling harm service that seeks to support and empower individuals, whanau and communities in developing healthy and fulfilling lifestyles, free from gambling harm.
A vacancy has become available within The Salvation Army Oasis for a fulltime or 0.8 FTE (40 or 32 hours per week) Gambling Caseworker. This role will be based in Christchurch and will support the development of increased service delivery in this community. The applicant will preferably have experience in working in the Gambling Harm or Addiction treatment field using both one to one and group interventions. In addition, experience in working with affected families, coexisting problems, and Maori and Pacific cultures would be an advantage.

To be appointed in this role, applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ Work Visa, give permission for the completion of a satisfactory Police Check and hold a current NZ Drivers Licence.
