The Salvation Army Blue Mountain Adventure Centre is a Christian-based outdoor adventure centre in Raurimu, Tongariro National Park, that helps people of all ages discover their God given potential through the challenge of adventure.

We are looking to fill the following positions;

Outdoor Instructor

This fulltime role involves instructing groups of all ages in outdoor education & assisting in the general running of the centre. The successful applicant will have experience instructing a variety of outdoor pursuits & must hold at least one NZOIA award and/or a Diploma in Outdoor Leadership. Being a qualified grade 2 raft guide would be advantageous.

The successful applicants will combine a can-do attitude with excellent relationship building & communication skills.  They will be self-motivated, professional, and be able to live and work in a small community. They will actively seek to advance their particular skill set and be a role model to those in their charge.
