The Salvation Army Supportive Accommodation team is committed to providing a professional service and care to our community. We require a full-time Site Monitor to join the new team at our Transitional Housing Facility in Manurewa.
On a daily basis, this role will include providing after-hours monitoring of the clients and facilities at the transitional housing site in Manurewa. The role will involve both overnight and weekend work, so would be ideally suited to someone who is flexible with work hours.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, reliable and hardworking. They will be able to work quite autonomously and will have a “can-do” attitude. They will also be willing and able to perform some physical tasks.
The successful candidate will have the ability to relate positively and communicate effectively with a wide range of people. They will be comfortable relating to people from a multicultural perspective. Importantly, they will also demonstrate empathy with the values and mission of The Salvation Army
To be appointed in this role, applicants must have NZ residency. This role includes working with vulnerable people, children & youth. A Police check will be required as part of the application process.
