An exciting full time paid position will become available at the Palmerston North Corps from February 2014 as our Youth Development Team Leader.
This person will be an important part of the Leadership of our Corps with responsibility for driving the strategic development of leaders and ministries directly related to youth and their families (school year 8 to 25 years old).
You need to be self-motivated, a leader of leaders and be excited about building relationships with youth and the wider Corps to ensure youth become and develop as friends of Jesus and participate/contribute to the life of the overall Corps.
The successful applicant will want to have fun and be creative. You will be confident in mentoring, coaching and pastoring youth, and be willing to integrate the youth into the life of the corps.
As this is a ministry position similar to that of a pastor, you will need to be a Senior Soldier member of The Salvation Army, have demonstrated strong Christian character and be a team player.
