Family Stores

Too good to throw away? Give it to the Sallies!

Salvation Army Family Stores are a great way to recycle clothing, furniture, household goods, toys and books, and help struggling households. The goods we sell make a huge difference to people’s lives and provide much needed relief in tight household budgets.

We welcome donations of a variety of good-quality goods: from fashion to furniture, toys to trinkets, CDs to collectables, books to bric-a-brac.  Your generosity helps us make a difference by building better communities.

How do I donate? Contact:

Social services

Welfare

At North Shore Community Ministries we provide individuals and families with immediate support, including clothing, furniture and food parcels. Our food bank provides over 2000 food parcels to families every year.

The food bank operates 4 mornings a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9:30am – 12  & Friday 9:30am – 11:30am. We are closed on Thursdays.

Appointments are not required - just turn up within the hours above for a discussion with one of our team. Please bring identification and if in receipt of a benefit from Work and Income, a confirmation letter is required showing that food entitlements have already been used up.  Pick up only as we do not deliver.
