If you are keen on skiing, boating or even mountain biking you will know these are all on the doorstep of Ashburton. And of course The Salvation Army has been in Ashburton since 1883. We exist to bring people into life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We would love to meet with you over a coffee and chat and for you to join us on the journey.
We hold various Bible Studies / Life groups each week and are open to everyone seeking to do life with others and discover God’s love and grace for our lives. Please make contact with the Officers to discover where you can join us.
Sit and Stitch meet every Friday afternoon in the Café area at the Family Store starting @2pm, Bring you knitting or crocheting and join us for tea, coffee and fellowship. This is a place where you can belong and meet with old and new friends

Every second Saturday of the month some men of the church meet at Robert Harris Café for breakfast, fellowship and a chat without having to do the dishes afterwards. Your welcome to join us. Starting from 8.00am
WOW (Women of Worth) - Fortnightly meetings on Tuesdays starting at 1.30pm.
JEWEL’s (Just Everday Women Enjoying Life) Monthly outings together with café visits

Sallies, Superstars - Every Thursday night children get together for games and activities, songs and Bible stories from 6pm onwards until 8pm. There is a place for your children to join us.
Youth Activities - Our CREW Youth meet monthly for activities around our community for fun and friendship from drive in movies in the hall to boating on Lake Hood. Come along and have some fun.

Of course you will see us in the local community with our emergency caravan. As well as assisting in local fire emergencies where we supply refreshments to the local fire brigades our caravan is also in the Annual Multicultural BITE and Boulevard Day. Come along and say hello.
