About Petone Corps Plant
Welcome to the Salvation Army Petone. We are a corps (church) plant that started in February 2010 and we're exploring faith and community together with people from the community.
We don't do church the way you might be used to and we're focused on figuring out how our faith and the expression of that on Sunday can intersect with our daily lives and bring out the God colours and flavour in society.
Playgroup
We have a Playgroup for babies and toddlers (accompanied by their parents and older siblings) every Wednesday and Friday from 9:30am.
The Great Escape Cafe
Once a month (check out thegreatescape.net.nz) we have a pancake breakfast where kids are free to run around. We have the Playgroup toys out and activities for kids of all ages. Adults can sit back and relax knowing their kids can't break anything or escape and are being entertained. There is all you can eat pancakes and fantastic coffee (espresso).
