Every year The Salvation Army launches its Red Shield Appeal with a series of corporate breakfasts across the country. The Salvation Army would like to acknowledge the following sponsors of the 2011‘Hope in the City’ Breakfasts which took place in Auckland and Wellington:

Westpac – Westpac again showed their support for The Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appeal by coming on as the Presenting Sponsor of both the Auckland and Wellington launch events. Westpac have also provided considerable support to The Salvation Army’s Canterbury Earthquake Appeal.

Toyota Financial Services - Toyota Financial Services provides fleet lease vehicles to The Salvation Army and was a Platinum sponsor for the Auckland launch breakfast.

On Thursday, 17 February 2011 teams from companies across the country met at Paraparaumu Beach Golf Links to take part in the inaugural Salvation Army Fuji Xerox Charity Golf Tournament. Golfers enjoyed perfect weather and winners on the day were Moss Off Roofing Solutions
