Key Partnerships

Corporate partnerships are fundamental to the continuing efforts of The Salvation Army in our communities. We would like to thank the following corporate organisations for their ongoing support:

IHG logoInterContinental Hotels Group – The InterContinental Hotels Group fundraise for the Give a Family a Break Programme which allows us to send disadvantaged families on a holiday. Hotel Intercontinental Wellington, Crowne Plaza Auckland, Holiday Inn City Centre Christchurch generously sponsor the Red Shield Appeal, and Holiday Inn Auckland Airport sponsors the Christmas Appeal.

Progressive Enterprises Limited- Progressive Enterprises, the operator of Countdown, Foodtown & Woolworths supermarkets has provided considerable support to The Salvation Army over many years. Progressive supports our food banks with food donations across the country and also sells the popular Salvation Army 'It's a Wrap' Christmas CD. In times of need, Progressive also helps raise funds for the Salvation Army and their customers and employees have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to many of our appeals.

AA Life - AA Life provides sponsorship for South Auckland's Life Skills Programme, giving women the opportunity to improve their quality of life and self-esteem.

Kmart New Zealand
  - Kmart New Zealand has coordinated The Wishing Tree Appeal for many years. Gifts are collected under Christmas trees instore and then distributed to children in need throughout New Zealand.

Watties and Hoyts Logos

Wattie's & Hoyts – Wattie’s and Hoyts support The Salvation Army each year with the Wattie’s Cans Film Festival. On the night of the festival, entry to certain movies is free when you bring a can of food. Wattie’s then match each can of food collected and all cans are donated to The Salvation Army. Wattie’s also provide support through food donations.

Duncan Cotterill Lawyers - Duncan Cotterill Lawyers provide generous financial support by sponsoring our State of the Nation report.

Nestle Logo

Nestle – Over the past three years Nestle have provided over 3 million dollars worth of food for Salvation Army food banks around the country.

Warehouse Stationary

Warehouse Stationery – Every year Warehouse Stationery run the ‘Helping Hands’ fundraising campaign. All funds raised are turned into stationery vouchers to help families with back to school costs.
