Q How do I get in to Bethany?

ACall us in confidence and we’ll arrange for you to come in and see if Bethany is the right place for you.

Q When can I come to Bethany?

AOur antenatal programme is 16 weeks. You can choose at what stage of your pregnancy you want to start, earlier or later as you prefer.

Q How old are the women who come to Bethany?

AAnything from between 13 to 35 and from all kinds of backgrounds and cultures.

Q Can I keep up my schooling?

AYes, by correspondence schooling as part of your programme.

Q How much does it cost?

AYour board is usually covered by WINZ, organised for you by our staff, and includes a weekly personal allowance.

Q Do I have to live at Bethany during my pregnancy?

ANo, you can live elsewhere, and attend the day sessions at Bethany.

Q Who provides my ante-natal care?

ABethany provides this, or you can retain your own midwife.

Q Can I have visitors?

AYes, though visiting times are in place.
