Bramwell Booth specifically caters to men and women with intellectual disabilities, from young adults to the elderly. We are 'a home away from home' for those looking for a supportive environment in a peaceful setting.

On the page below, you can read some information about the property as well as about the services and activities available to residents.

More about the Bramwell Booth property

Bramwell Booth is situated on beautiful rural land dominated by a historic homestead. The residence is merely three kilometres from the township of Temuka and the city of Timaru's facilities are only twenty minutes drive away.

Residents occupy four small accommodation units located on this fifteen acre property. The most recent unit was purpose-built to suit the needs of those with physical as well as intellectual disabilities.

Our accommodation is particularly suited to those who have adopted a smoke-free, alcohol-free lifestyle and who enjoy the tranquillity of rural living.

Services and activities available to Bramwell Booth residents

We encourage our residents to do as much for themselves as is physically and intellectually possible. Our staff members are trained only to do for residents what they cannot do for themselves.
