What are the signs of a drinking problem?

  • Are you in financial difficulty as a result of your drinking or drug use?
  • Do you drink or take drugs more often now than you used to?
  • Do you require more alcohol or drugs to achieve the same effect?
  • Is your drinking or drug taking jeopardising your work performance?
  • Have you ever injured yourself or another person after drinking or drug use?
  • Is alcohol or drugs affecting your interpersonal relationships?
  • Complete the ALAC DrinkCheck

If you answered yes to any of the above questions or you are concerned about your current use of alcohol or drugs, The Salvation Army Bridge Programme can assist you with further evaluation to decide the extent of the problem and identify solutions.
