Your expertise about your special needs is respected, and you are consulted in decisions that affect you.
You are provided with services that are compatible with your cultural and personal background, belief and values.
You are able to choose the person/s who will be providing your service.
You are informed of your rights and responsibilities
You receive information about the service you will receive, in a form you can understand.
Your privacy and confidentiality is maintained at all times, and you are able to access all the information kept about you by the service, and know how the information will be used.
You can refuse to have services or withdraw from the service at any time.
You have the right to ask for another volunteer if you are not happy with your current volunteer.
We expect you to:
Provide a safe environment for your volunteer.
Give at least 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel or change your visiting day, or time.
