Salvation Army HomeCare offers the short-term or long-term practical support you require to maintain a comfortable lifestyle in your own environment.

  • Personal Care Assistance
    Including: bathing/showering, dressing, toileting, mobility assistance, meal preparation, passive exercise/walking
  • Household Management Assistance
    Including: household hygiene (vacuuming and dusting), bed-making, laundry and ironing, shopping assistance, other essential household tasks
  • Sleepovers
  • Respite Care
  • Volunteer Visiting Service (some areas)
  • Pastoral Support (some areas)

Eligibility for HomeCare assistance

Those eligible for our service include:

  • People with disabilities
  • ACC clients
  • Children with special needs
  • Over 65 year olds who have been assessed as needing support at home
  • Community Service Card holders
  • Patients upon discharge from hospital
  • Private fee-paying clients
