Booth College of Mission

The Salvation Army Booth College of Mission consists of the School for Officer Training, the School of Bible and Mission, the Centre for Leadership Development, Youth Mission Training and an on-site Early Childhood Education Centre.
Our mission is: 'To inspire and enable men and women to develop the knowledge, skills, spirit and character to sustain and advance the mission of Christ in today’s world.'

The Centre for Leadership Development offers a short course programme, designed to target specific leadership skills or issues.

The following courses are taught at BCM and are a mix of accredited and non-accredited courses available.

BCM partners with the Youth Department of The Salvation Army to provide several training options to Salvation Army youth.

The School of Bible and Mission, a faculty of BCM, offers courses which lead to credit for Laidlaw College awards.

Officer training is all about discovering what a person needs to know, what they need to do and who they need to be in order to be the best they can be as they outwork their calling through officership.

The library at BCM often purchases new resources that would be helpful in the day-to-day ministries across our territory.
