Music & Creative Arts

The Creative Ministries Department exists to resource and develop music and creative arts.

Our programmes, ministry opportunities and worship arts resources are designed to equip people to engage creatively in expressing their relationship with Jesus.

Training programmes

The Creative Ministries Department offers a wide selection of training courses and seminars to equip churches in the creative arts.  Courses can be booked by contacting the Creative Ministries Department.

Brass Development Camp

Creative Ministries in association with the National Youth Band of the Salvation Army would like to encourage young brass players at their local Corps to come to this Brass Development Camp in Wellington. 

We urge all bandmasters and parents of young brass players to encourage their players to come along.

They will receive expert tuition by prominent brass leaders and bring valuable experience back to their corps and band.

Cost: $100 - This camp is subsidised by the Territory to enable all players to attend.

Dates: 1st to the 5th of May 2013.

The Creative Ministries Department serves to administer the operations of SpiritSong, the National Youth Band and the Central Youth Chorus. To enquire about hosting any of these national music ministry groups, contact the Creative Ministries Department.

SpiritSong

This choral group is a vibrant vocal ministry designed to minister to both believers and non-believers.

Worship arts resources

The Creative Ministries Department creates and distributes resources for music and creative arts in worship. Our goal is to resource Salvation Army churches for multi-dimensional, dynamic worship and outreach through the Creative Arts.
