I serve as an officer (aux-captain) and as co-leader of The Salvation Army National Māori Ministry. My husband is Joe and we have been married for 41 years. I have been an officer since 2008, and we have both led this Ministry since 2006. As a new recruit to the Army my journey in the Lord has been one I know will never end. I give thanks and praise to him who continues to show me little ‘wonders’ when I least expect it. He is amazing! ‘His love endures forever!’

No reira e te whanau, e hoa mā, rau rangatira mā,  mā te Atua koutou e tiaki e manaaki in ngā wā katoa … Amine.

I whanai mai ai ahau ki Otepoti.

My wife Dorothy and I entered the Salvation Army Training College, Aro St, Wgtn in 1960 and we were blessed with four sons, and to date, two daughter in laws and five grandchildren. My wife, Dorothy was promoted to glory on 12 May 1997 after a long battle with a terminal condition. Our Salvation Army service has spanned Corps, Divisional and Territorial Headquarters appointments. Each sphere of ministry has been received as a great privilege and responsibility and as from the hand of God himself.

If the centre shoot of the flax is pulled out
The flax will die
Leaving no place for the bellbird to sing;
Although these conservation factors
are important in the world
if I was to ask
what is the most important things in the world
I will answer
It is that person, that person, that person;
That is, it is each and every person.

Naku te raurau, nau te raurau, ka ora te manuhiri (your food basket and my food basket, together we shall feed the people)

We'd love to hear from you!
