  • In rural Feilding, isolated people and those caught up in the court system are finding a new direction and a newfound self-confidence by participating in The Salvation Army Feilding Community Life Skills Garden project
  • After the Christchurch earthquakes, it was estimated the city needed 1000 extra workers to rebuild its infrastructure over the next five to seven years. The Salvation Army Education and Employment service pitched in by setting up ‘U Build 4 the Rebuild' - an initiative to train and qualify local unemployed people for roading and underground infrastructure work.
