Summary

In March of this year, I attended the fifth National Homeless Conference organised by the New Zealand Coalition to End Homelessness (NZCEH). This was one of my first official duties as an advisor and analyst for the Social Policy and Parliamentary Unit of The Salvation Army. At this conference, I met some amazingly passionate people, working with individuals and families who were primarily homeless or rough sleepers. I also heard about some of the initiatives these groups ran for homeless or rough sleeping people.
