About Midland Bridge

The Salvation Army Bridge: Midland provides high-quality residential services for people whose lives have been affected by the harmful use of alcohol and other drugs.  We are looking for an exceptional full time Registered Nurse who will use their considerable experience to help us to provide client-centered services.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Registration with the Nursing Council of NZ with a current annual practising certificate.
  • Sound assessment and risk management skills.
  • Experience providing health-based education groups.
  • Good understanding of addiction and co-existing problems.
  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Ability to work within a team environment as well as being able to work independently.
  • Awareness of the Treaty of Waitangi and be willing to work from a bicultural perspective. 
  • Empathy with the mission of the Salvation Army.
