The Salvation Army Reintegration Service, Wellington - Supported Bail House

The Salvation Army Reintegration Service provides short term housing and other support for people reintegrating into the community following their release from prison.

These Bail Support position’s involve the case management of allocated clients ensuring they are supported throughout their initial Bail into the community.  It will include working closely with Community Probations, Bail Supports, Police, Family and other government and community organizations.

It is a 24/7 Supported Service.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have the ability to work in a team environment
  • Have the good personal relationship skills
  • Have previous experience in handling crises
  • Have an ability to monitor and oversight programme
  • Have a willingness to work from a bicultural perspective, having an awareness and understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi
  • Have a strong sense of social justice
  • Have a commitment to the mission and values of the Salvation Army
  • Have a current full drivers licence
