Band Leader, Brass Players

Location: Wellington South Corps

The Wellington South Corps has a proud tradition of brass banding and a heart for seeing people experience the joy and freedom that comes by following Jesus and serving others.

  • We are inviting Salvation Army soldiers to apply for the volunteer position of Band Leader at Wellington South Corps.
  • We are inviting servant-minded brass players, especially cornet players, to join us also.

Both of these roles will involve mentoring and encouraging brass learners.

Wellington South Corps is based at The Salvation Army’s Worship and Community Centre in Newtown. Our centre has a culture of integrated mission, where Wellington Community Ministries, an Early Childhood Education Centre, Bridge and Oasis, Recovery Church and more work together to serve God's purposes. Our shared mission is to: “Offer Hope, Demonstrate Love, and Explore Faith by connecting and journeying together to provide support and a place to belong.”

If you are excited about serving and becoming part of a growing community corps in the vibrant Wellington suburb of Newtown, please contact:
