About the Programme

Our Centre runs a Foodbank, provides Case Work, Financial Mentoring as well as Transitional Housing. As part of this we offer the Positive Lifestyle Programme (PLP), as well as other support groups for people who are involved in our Centre.

About the role

This is a part time role (18 hours per week) over three days (Tues, Thurs, Fri). You will work within the Community Ministries team and will train in PLP and the Rental Readiness programme. Along with this you will provide back up to our Foodbank with case work and related duties.

This is an opportunity to train in the well-established Positive Lifestyle Programme. It is also an opportunity to work alongside our highly experienced Programmes Co-ordinator providing opportunities for people to discover and develop their wellbeing and understanding of some of life’s struggles and skills towards resilience.

Person Specification

  • Skill or experience in support group work would be great.
  • Bachelor of Social Service or equivalence and/or experience.
  • Able to work flexibly alongside other members of the team.
