The Salvation Army Bridge Programme currently has vacancies for suitably qualified and experienced Residential Support workers located in Hamilton. Some versatility will be required in terms of the variable hours, but they are night time hours including weekend nights. The shifts are from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am and from 12:00 am to 8:00 am.
The applicant should have experience in support work in an addiction or mental health setting and/ or hold or be willing to undertake study toward the National Certificate in Mental Health Support Work.
The ability to work in a culturally appropriate and safe manner with Maori and Pasifika peoples is essential as is having a full/clean driver’s licence.
