About the Gisborne Corps
The Salvation Army in Gisborne seeks to care for people, transform lives and reform society through God in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. We meet together to grow in our Christian faith and learn to live it out in our community. As such we aim, through our Community Ministries Team, to provide assistance in the form of food parcels, financial mentoring, advocacy and more, using the available resources we have.
About the role
Our building complex has auditoriums/multi use rooms, ground and upper floor office spaces, staff rooms, a couple of kitchens plus a café space along with a number of toilet areas. This means we need a cleaner who can support our mission by ensuring the premises are clean, tidy and ready for use from top to bottom.
As the cleaner you will be line managed by the Corps Officers. You will also work alongside other staff, volunteers and when necessary, those who hire our hall.
This permanent position is for 10 hours per week (2 hrs per day) Monday-Friday, with the possibility of extra hours depending on hall hires.
