Clinical Team Leader

Salvation Army Bridge Auckland, Based at Waitakere

 

This is an opportunity to help guide and develop a first-class service as we further develop our model of care and support that we offer to clients and their whanau/families.

You will be leading a team of dedicated caseworkers working with clients who have issues related to substance addiction and wanting to make a positive change to their lives.

This exciting leadership role involves overseeing the provision of comprehensive assessments, withdrawal management, case management, group work, one to one supportive interventions and liaison with other community organisations to provide the best care possible.

You will be part of a wider Auckland based team working collaboratively with your counterparts in other centres.

So if you have a commitment to supporting people in their recovery and have many of the following attributes we would be very keen to hear from you:

  • A current professional qualification and registration in Counselling, Nursing, or Social Work (this is a must);
  • Experience in managing a team of staff;
  • Experience in group facilitation and issue resolution;
  • Ability to work within a team environment;
  • Can work from a bicultural perspective;
  • Clinical experience within Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD);
  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

This role is 40 hours per week.
