Hours: This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week 

Salary Band: The salary range for this role is $52,423 to $56,500/Hourly rate $26.88 to $29.00.  

About the role/job description

We are looking for a resilient, high functioning person with strong administration, coordination and communication skills to join our national team, supporting both local and national Coordinators of key services.     

In this role you will be delivering vital support to managers and staff who provide essential services to our local communities.  

Key tasks  

  • Work under the direction of the Executive Assistant to support our national team with administrative processes. 
  • Assist our national team with delivery of implementing projects, trainings, events and services. 
  • Connect across The Salvation Army’s regions and centres. 
  • Support local centre administrators to produce resources.  

Person Specification  

  • Minimum of three years office administration experience. 
  • Easily build whanaungatanga/authentic relationships with people.  
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to connect with diverse groups of people.  
  • Be able to problem solve and show initiative in their work and connecting with people.  
  • Confidence in the full Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint and Power BI would be advantageous.  
  • Basic skills in Social Media administration. 
  • Understanding of, respect for, and ability to work with The Salvation Army's mission, principles, and Christian ethos.
