About the role

Join a team that is committed to ensuring that The Salvation Army Bridge and Oasis services are responsive to the needs of the people who access our services. The successful applicant will have had a lived experience of addiction, having used alcohol and other drugs (AOD) and/or gambling services. 

As the successful applicant(s) you will work 4 hours per week for the Dunedin Bridge and 4 hours per week for the Dunedin Oasis. You will be facilitating client feedback and presenting this perspective to the management team in various forums, supporting clients to access support and advocacy and assisting the National Consumer Advisor to implement the consumer participation plan.

You will have had experience of AOD and/or reducing gambling harm services. Be committed to improving services to Bridge and Oasis clients and have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
