Drug and Alcohol Residential Support Worker

The Dunedin Bridge is a high-quality alcohol and drug addiction residential service which is passionate about supporting adults (male and female) recovering from addiction.  Our service has a full-time (40 hours per week) vacancy. The shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 12:30 am to 8:30 am and Saturday & Sunday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Requirements:

• Level 4 Mental Health Certificate preferred or ability to work towards and attain;
• Good communication skills;
• Able to work as part of a team, positive, reliable and trustworthy;
• Able to follow and fulfil service policies and practices;
• Skills in organising and multi-tasking abilities;
• Skill in problem solving and can remain calm under pressure with a sense of humour;
• Computer skills;
• Full/clean NZ driver’s licence;
• Legal entitlement to work in NZ;
• Accurate at administering medication as prescribed to service participants.
