The Salvation Army Education & Employment (TSA E&E) is seeking a tutor for our Youth Guarantee programme situated at Fitzgerald Avenue in Christchurch. While following an approved curriculum you will have the opportunity to make the role and the teaching space reflect the environment and culture you wish to create, and which will enable your learners to succeed. Our goal is to give youth, the opportunity to learn in an environment where they feel well-supported, productive, and motivated to achieve and progress. The ECE programme progresses through level one (foundation skills) to level two, and on to level three, and is designed to give youth an introduction to early childhood care and education. The programme will enable achievement of NCEA (Level 1), NCEA (Level 2), and NZECE (Level 3).
The position is full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week.

Police vetting required. Support and training will be given where tutoring background is limited.
