About the role

The Family Store Team Leader will work alongside an existing Family Store Team Leader to provide vital support and lead this store to meet its strategic and financial goals.  With the support and guidance of the Area Family Store Manager, supporting staff and its group of amazing volunteers we will work together in improving an already valuable donation process for the community.

Key tasks

  • Stock Processing and implementing best practice processes
  • Staff and Volunteer leadership and training
  • Financial Management
  • Community Engagement

In this role you will encourage and train staff and volunteers to be the best they can in their roles.  You will share the day-to-day leadership of a busy store, making it an enjoyable experience for customers and donors.

Person Specification

  • Well organised and have strong management skills.
  • Physically fit (moving and lifting stock)
  • Able to relate to a diverse range of people
  • Prior knowledge of second-hand goods
  • Great merchandising skills
  • Good computer/ electronic skills
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Experience leading a team
