Family Store Truck Driver

Victoria Street, Hamilton

Part time job share position.

The Victoria Street Hamilton Family Store is a large and busy store. The truck driver role is shared with one other person and we are looking for a second person to work Thursday and Friday, 8 hours each day, 16 hours per week.

The main tasks of this role are collection and delivery of donated goods from and to customers and our other stores in Hamilton, loading and unloading of the vehicle at base, and assistance with pricing and placing of larger items into the store.

The person we seek will:

  • Be supportive of the mission of the Salvation Army and identify with our mission and values;
  • Have a full clean NZ driver’s licence (Heavy Traffic not required);
  • Be an active, friendly, physically fit person.
