Hours: This is a permanent, full time, 40hrs per week role, working 8:30am – 5:30pm Tuesday to Saturday.

About the role

The purpose of the Meet and Greet role is to ensure that we provide the best on-site donor convenience and experience to encourage that we are the first choice, and then continue as repeat donors and that the processing stations are serviced, and overflow of goods are ordered and organised within the crating system. This role includes, but is not limited to the following tasks;

  • Meeting and greeting customers/donors
  • Accepting all donations
  • Help bringing donors items from their vehicle
  • Sorting donated goods into appropriate crates
  • Placing donated furniture in designated areas
  • Aiding with processing
  • Store cleanliness and tidiness
  • Keeping racks and shelves tidy and stocked

Preferred skills

  • Able to communicate and build relationships with people from all walks of life
  • Retail experience
  • Can work as part of a team and also alone
  • Clean full New Zealand drivers licence (preferred but not mandatory)

Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
