Full Time position
We are looking for a savvy and dynamic team leader who can lead from the front and can lead a fantastic team of staff and volunteers. You will assist in processing the generous donations from our community and to make sure that all donors and customers alike are treated with the respect that they deserve.
About the Role
This is no ordinary retail role as you will take charge of pricing and will deal with the complexities of processing the flow of donated goods.
Our ideal family store team leader will be a hands-on operator, with proven abilities to motivate and lead people. You will be excited by the privilege of funding the mission of The Salvation Army through smart retailing decisions, and possess the ability to implement processes which make for the smooth running of the store.
You would have strong people skills – with the ability to lead and motivate a team of volunteer and paid staff, offering excellent customer service while being compassionate to all our customers and their varying needs. You will also be committed to maintaining strong links between the Family Store and other Salvation Army Programmes.
