About the role

The Family Store Team Leader will provide vital support and assistance as part of the Senior Leadership Team implementing strategic direction and operations, leading the performance of the Family Store to meet agreed financial and operational targets. As such, the Team Leader will work closely in a supportive role alongside the Family Store Area Manager, assisting with all aspects of their work. They will operate applying sound judgement and supporting operational excellence.

Key tasks

  • Financial Management;
  • Merchandising;
  • Staff and Volunteer Leadership;
  • Stock Processing;
  • Community engagement.

Person Specification

  • A relevant qualification and a minimum of 3 years retail leadership and customer service experience;
  • Sound performance management experience;
  • Highly tuned organisation ability;
  • The ability to be hands-on in a physically demanding role at times;
  • Current clean drivers’ licence (desirable).
