Truck Driver

Glen Eden, Auckland

Do you love to drive and lift heavy things? Do you want to feel like you are working for something bigger than the bottom line?

Then this could be the job for you! We are looking for a Truck Driver (Class 1 licence) with excellent customer service and decision-making abilities, based out of our Glen Eden Family Store. This position is full-time (37.5 hours per week), and will consist of pickups, deliveries and stock transfer for our Family Store operation. We are searching for someone with excellent people skills, a clean driving record and who wants to have a good physical workout every day.

As the successful applicant you will:

  • Have a good level of physical fitness, as lifting is required
  • Have a full, clean driver’s licence (Class 1)
  • Have some knowledge of second-hand goods
  • Be able to make confident decisions about the quality of donations
  • Be well presented
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Have great communication skills
  • Be a team player
  • Have the initiative and drive to go the extra mile
  • Be an energetic, hands-on individual
  • Be available to work five days a week
