The Salvation Army Te Ope Whakaora is a world-wide evangelical Christian church and human service provider that assists over 120,000 New Zealanders every year providing a wide range of community services, such as food banks, family stores, early childhood centres, addiction treatment centres and a hospice.
The funding support The Salvation Army receives from trust and foundations is a lifeline for their provision of social services and projects throughout New Zealand and makes a real difference to the lives of vulnerable New Zealanders.
As the Trusts and Foundations Coordinator, you will be responsible for preparing applications to existing funders, sourcing and applying to new funders and processing, recording and reporting of grants received.
With a strong track record of achieving targets, you will be a self-starter, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and be deadline driven to produce high quality funding applications and reports.
