Governance Board Committees
Board committees provide focus for specialised areas of NZFTS ministry and administration. The committees are not decision-making bodies, but rather subsets of TGB, which is the ultimate territorial decision-making body.
Nomination Committee: assists the board in planning the board’s composition and evaluating the competencies required of prospective members.
Investment Committee: assists the board in governance matters relating to its investments.
Policy and Minutes Committee: assists the board prepare and update policy and minutes.
Quality Assurance Audit and Risk Committee: assists the board with proactive risk management; its risk appetite settings, and ensures TSA, along with its Trustees are meeting their legal and legislative compliance obligations.
Spiritual Life Committee: assists the board in safeguarding and guiding the spiritual life of the territory, emphasising spiritual oversight, strategic insight, and mission alignment.
