Māori Taonga

A piupiu (flax skirt) and korowai (cloak) belonging to Ernest Holdaway, Maori ministry pioneer were gifted back to The Salvation Army by his family in 2005 and were acknowledged as Māori Taonga at the 2008 National Māori Ministry Hui. They are now on display in the Territorial Archives and Museum, Wellington.
