Auckland City Corps

Auckland City Corps welcomes everyone from across the Auckland region. Our Sunday worship happens at 10.30am, every weekend and involves all age-groups. This is a reflection of who we are, with some families among us stretching across three generations. And we are an extended family of an increasing diversity of nationalities. Sunday morning worship is focused on discovering and celebrating God in our lives. Fellowship is a big thing here as we connect with everyone in our cafe after the services.
We have a rich musical talent across many worship expressions—another sign of family at worship. Our brass band, our choral group (songsters) as well as our music team aim to help you connect with God in a personal way through our worship. Our children and youth also take an active part.
During the week our doors are open to the wide range of needs that are present within our city. We want to become a place of welcome where people can have their deepest needs met and enter into a meaningful relationship with God for themselves.
In July 2014, Auckland City Corps together with our sister Korean Corps relocated to 18 Allright Place, Mount Wellington after 131 years in the inner city CBD of Auckland. Here, we have replanted our two Corps and are establishing a mission base that will offer much more than Sunday Services:
- An Early Childhood Centre
- Family Store
- Midweek cafe
- Community Ministries
- Children’s Programmes
- Music Academy
We also run addiction counselling services and more. We host the charity Feed the Need who prepare and supply hot meals through the winter months to some low decile schools in the South Auckland region.
We aim to be a local church for those in the area, but also to reach out with our services across parts of Auckland including Pakuranga, Mt Wellington, Glen Innes, Onehunga and Remuera—having a local and regional influence for good and for God.
