Petone Corps Plant
Welcome to the Salvation Army Petone. We are a corps plant that started in February 2010 and we’re on a journey of exploring faith and community together with people from the community. We are focused on exploring how our faith in Jesus and the expression of that on Sundays intersects with our daily lives and brings out the God-colours and flavours in society.

Service time(s)
Sundays at 10am. Relaxed, discussion-based service. Family-friendly. Anyone welcome.
Interest groups
Playgroup
Every Wednesday during term-time from 9:30-11:30am for children under 5 when accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Cost is $2 per child or $5 per family of three or more children. Please bring your own water bottle, hat and sunscreen. It would be great to see you!

Pancakes at Petone
Once a month (1st Sunday of the month) we have a pancake brunch served with fantastic barista-made coffee. It costs $5 per adult and $3 per child for all-you-can-eat pancakes. $14 for a family. Come and enjoy the fun. Starts at 10am – see you there!
‘Cake and conversation’
Fridays from 3-4pm at the Petone Family Store, 288 Jackson St. Walk through the store to the back kitchen/meeting area. We bring the cake, a listening ear and offer companionship. Anyone welcome!
Weekly prayer meetings
Kneedrill (our prayer meeting) runs every Sunday at 9:30am.

Local Events
Christmas on the lawn
Every Christmas Eve we host a Carol Service from 7pm on our front lawn. Family-friendly. BYO rug or chair.

Affordable hall hire available for birthdays, parties, meetings, groups, community events etc. One-off or long-term. Contact us by phone or email for more info.
