Thought Matters 2023 is now open for registrations for this year’s conference.

We’re excited to announce that our Keynote Speaker will be Lt-Colonel Karen Shakespeare, chair of The Salvation Army’s International Theological Council.

Full schedule and speaker details will be available soon!

  • The conference is being held at Booth College of Mission, 20 William Booth Grove, upper Hutt, Wellington, from 6pm Friday 29 September to lunch on Sunday 1 October.
  • The conference cost is NZ$165, including lunch and dinner – but not accommodation. This is lower than the price in 2017!
  • Accommodation options are found on this page, including staying at BCM, or local motels.

Registration will open at 5pm on Friday 29 September, with a mihi whakatau at 6pm to begin proceedings. This will include light refreshments, but not a full dinner – so come prepared.
