It’s nearly that time of the year again! The Spiritual Life Development Network are excited to share with you the theme for the 2026 Territorial Prayer Summit, Rest & Reset. Our focus will be Matthew 11:28-30.
Our shared Salvation Army mission is vast and beautiful, but as human beings our energy has limits. In the Passion Translation of Matthew 11:28, Jesus says, ‘Come to me. I will refresh our life, for I am your Oasis.’ What a gracious and essential invitation to pause and rest for a while from the One who loves us completely.
Over the course of the Prayer Summit there will be opportunities for both silent prayer and online spontaneous corporate prayer. Prepared prayers will also be offered, as well as prayer practices and activities that will take us offline. Testimonies will be a feature of the weekend and there will be inspiring teaching from Commissioner Janine Donaldson and members of the Spiritual Life Development Network.
While the focus for most of the Summit will be rest, our final session will be a reset for mission and ministry. So please join us by connecting with a local corps group, or as an individual.
