WM Children’s Wordfind: Finding women of influence

Use our Women of Influence children’s word find to teach children about the stories of women in the Bible. We think that telling stories of the women of influence in the Bible is crucial for little boys and girls to grasp the love of God fully. 

Women’s Ministries collaborated with Lieutenant Mike Bryan from The Salvation Army Papakura to create this beautiful Children’s Ministry resource with the names of some of the women in the Bible hidden inside. This wordfind is something that can help engage children in the whakapapa (lineage) of faith and leadership that the women of the Bible leave to us today.

‘Do you see this woman?​’

In Luke 7:44. Jesus asks Simon ‘Do you see this woman?’ We want the church to see women, and to hear the stories Jesus has woven of our strength and character throughout the Word of God. The wordfind encourages children to learn more about those names, so why not prepare your Children’s Ministry workers, parents, leaders or yourself in advance, to use this opportunity to research some mana wahine you haven’t heard of before?
