Become a Red Shield Street Collector for The Salvation Army this year

What is it?

The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal is a week when we're in the community fundraising to help Kiwis in need. All funds raised from the Red Shield street appeal fund the frontline work of The Salvation Army in New Zealand.

When is it?

This year our Red Shield Appeal is 4th - 10th May 2020

We are looking for keen people to volunteer as Street Collectors. If you can spare us some time in that week please sign up to be a volunteer.

Without volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to support, care and empower Kiwis who are in desperate need. Volunteering is a great opportunity to make a postive impact on your community, to be part of a team and learn new skills.

What happens next?

You will be contacted by a Red Shield Coordinator who will discuss the responsibilities of a Red Shield Appeal collector, confirm your suitability, and identify possible collection sites. We are looking to sign people up for hourly collection sessions.
